Everyone is aware the over optimizing of websites. The competition is getting tough as people have turned to search engines for paid inclusion of their websites. Google Panda
Released in the February of 2011, it was a common name for Google’s algorithm. It brought a revival in a well-known search engine by restoring the top space to the highest quality sites and removing the optimized thin sites (low quality sites) somewhat lower in the result pages where they should be. This helped improve the results of Google which were being badly affected by search engine optimization SEM. The panda update affected almost 12 percent of the result pages. This helped redeem the websites quality and was updated several times and Google made sure that people were aware of the criteria they had set for a high quality website.
Penguin update
It was released in the April of 2012 after the success of panda. Penguin, such an adorable name for Google’s algorithm; it basically works to halt all search engine rankings of web pages or websites that produce hindrances for the smooth running of Google itself. It is working 3.5% effectively for all ranked websites in English, 3.2% for languages such as Arabic, Chinese, and German etc. and with even more success for spammed languages. The penguin update by Google is basically a fight against spam websites. It has been appreciated as it keeps the quality of Google result pages high. It is not manually operated but is automatic and attacks the spammed and low quality websites to remove it from the top spaces.
Negative SEO
This was developed to save your website from Google’s ranking. This refers to people blaming you to have scammed pages and your website having black hat repute. This is the work of your competitors obviously, bringing down your repute so that you may have a bad ranking and receive lesser visitors.
But don’t worry there is an easy way of getting out of this, just make sure you have a clean, authorized profile link, for Google will study your entire history of links. You need to be sure that your website has high quality links or that you have a backbone to support you. New websites can easily be demolished by negative SEO. It surely does exist and as they say, “honesty is the best policy”, please make sure you have the work presented decently on your website with no low quality links or spams.
